Finally, my new website is ready! This has been a long time coming and I know all of you have been waiting for it since months now. Having transitioned from a professional windsurfing athlete to a windsurfing instructor and personal trainer, my website had to be completely restructured and this took a bit longer than I thought. I sincerely apologize for having you wait for so long and promise I’ll make it up to you!
I would never have been able to present such an amazing design and functionality without the help of the guys over at Greenlemon. Most of you must know by now that I am a perfectionist, so I won’t have anything go on air without thinking it over a 100 times; these guys helped make my vision into a final product!
So, what’s new with the site? Well, everything!
-An about me section if you want to get to know me better and find out what has changed in my life during the last 6 years (it’s been quite long since my last windsurfing competition and I haven’t been updating my website much – I was way too busy navigating my after-professional-athlete life and studying for my personal trainer diploma!)
-A blog where I can talk to you about my windsurfing, fitness and nutrition journey, favorite topics and adventures. By the way, I’d love to hear what YOU would like me to write about! I am thinking about sharing windsurfing, training and nutrition stuff, posting reviews about restaurants with healthy food as well as addressing questions that I receive from you all.
-A services section where you can find out about how I can be your coach and about the events I am hosting.
-A resources section where you can find out information about my favorite things and -for those of you who didn’t know me back when I was a windsurfing athlete- an archive of all the pictures and updates from my journey in competitive windsurfing.
-Links to my social channels, which I update daily with my workouts and whereabouts. If you want to get creepy you can follow me on all of them!
I really hope you like my new website, please use the contact form for inquiries, ideas for collaboration and to send me any question you want answered!
Now, a little life update:
2015 was a great year for me, as I decided to turn my life around. It was my first season working full time as a windsurfing instructor and setting the foundation for my personal trainer career! The only places where you could spot me were on a windsurfing board at the beach giving a lesson, at some place giving a personal training session (a lot of them were held at the beach, which is awesome especially early morning or sundown), or buried in books studying for my personal trainer diploma. That’s why you didn’t see much of me throughout the year. In October 2015 I completed my Personal Trainer and nutrition qualification in London and I can now officially be your coach! Yay!
I am also hosting my very first fitness event in April, for which you can find details of here. I will keep hosting events throughout the year, so make sure you subscribe to my newsletter to make sure you don’t miss any!
I hope to see you pop by one of my events or catch up with you on facebook, instagram or twitter. I would love to be able to help you along your health and fitness journey!
